148. Kurzgeschichte: Die Lichthüterin Deutschland<br />
The guardian of the light<br />
Story:<br />
This is the story of Mona. She is searching for the meaning of life which brings her to a light<br />
house. There she meets Yve, the guardian of the light. Her job is it to send out love, light,<br />
warmth und peace to the world and to help other people to find their light.<br />
Mona stays with Yve for a while. During this time she learns new things and meets new<br />
people, helping her to find her way.<br />
Abstract of the book:<br />
There was only a table with the fire bowl standing on it and two stools, even the walls were<br />
bare. When I looked at the walls, it seemed as if I could see the moon and the stars. Then I<br />
realized that those weren´t walls, we were surrounded by glass. We were in the vitreous<br />
territory, the heart of the light house.<br />
I was filled over and over with questions: Why did Yve light the fire? There were nor more<br />
light houses. Why is she doing this? Did the wine we had for dinner get to Yve´s head? Or<br />
did I end up with a madwoman?<br />
But Yve did not seem as if she was insane. Devoutly she put some more wood into the fire<br />
until it burned evenly. She did not speak the whole time, but once in a while a mysterious<br />
smile slipped her face. Finally she sat next to me and glanced into the darkness.<br />
After a while she said: “When you arrived I told you that I am the guardian of the light. It is my<br />
responsibility to keep the burning in the light house so it never goes out. Thanks to modern<br />
navigation systems ships nowadays do not need help, but with the fire I am sending out<br />
LIGHT, LOVE, WARMTH and PEACE and I hope that I can help people to orientate<br />
themselves. The fire is my contribution to make the world a better place.<br />
What is the cause of my story?<br />
With this story I am trying to reach out and touch the hearts of a la lot of people. This is my<br />

an dem Du Dich wärmen kannst.<br />
Außerdem wünsche ich Dir die Fähigkeit,<br />
Licht, Liebe, Wärme und Frieden<br />
hinaus in die Welt zu senden,<br />
so dass sich auch andere an Dir orientieren<br />
und an Deinem Licht<br />
wärmen können.<br />
