From Sicily
to the World
Vienna, Rome, Zurich, Pristina and Tashkent were the first steps
of Italian singer Massimo Galfano to bring his music to the
world.

In January, he started his tour 2013
“Tra Cenere e Parole” with a concert
at a SOCIETY event with the
Tunisian embassy on the location
of “Altes Rathaus” in Vienna. The
singer who lives in Switzerland is
famous for his warm, sensual voice that
comes without translation. A voice, that
captivates audiences all over the world. It
is one way to sing, to communicate with
positive emotions and Italian charm. The
new album contains songs such as “Tra
cenere e Parole”, “Vite Spezzate”, “Luna”,
“Notte di Ferragosto”, “Viaggio”and
“Voglio Cantare”, displaying the singers
vocal range perfectly. A remake of the international
success of his album “Il Mondo”
(The World), as well as other songs is
also one of his future projects.

Musical roots
Massimo Galfano is the third of four
sons, and was born in Jugenheim, Germany,
on the 27 May 1973. His Sicilian parents
are from Santa Ninfa, a lovely town near
Trapani whose context influenced his inner
artistic talent, showing off his warm
and powerful voice which emphasizes the
new sounds of pop. His mother is a determinate,
willing and strong woman, and his
father is a severe man who spent his life
providing his family maintenance that suffered
from the earthquake consequences
in 1968 which devastated the entire Belice
area, including their birth house and having
lost everything they had, they left to
Germany looking for a greater life where
they would stay there until 1975.
His father’s passion for music led
him to start playing the drums in a band
where he would be on tour all over Europe
