nur 3,7 Sekunden von 0 auf 100 km/h und besitzt eine
Reichweite von bis zu 490 km.
Shining Debut in Stuttgart
The 45th Porsche Tennis Grand Prix 2022 was held in
April 2022 within the state capital of Baden-Württemberg.
Participants were 9 of the Top 10 female tennis players,
together with young and promising talents from Porsche Talent
Team, for example Jule Niemeier, who received a wildcard
to enter the tournament. The ultimate winner would
receive a sponsored Porsche Taycan GTS Sport Turismo, an
all-electric sports car described as »pure e-performance« which
can accelerate to up to 598hp top speed, reach 100km/h in
3.7 seconds and has a range of 490km. As an international
tournament the Grand Prix is an annual showcase of the
companies’ and cities’ investment in the area of professional
sports. Beside the actual tournament a whole lot of side
events took place, among them the »Porsche Welt« with its
showcase of rare Porsche vehicles and the »Porsche Mini Tennis
Grand Prix« for aspiring athletes below the age of 9. The
main event was decided by a nerve-wracking duel between Iga
Swiatek and Aryna Sabalenka, which Swiatek could decide
in her favour after one and a half hours.
