each of the two divisions thus formed being produced into a
blunt point. Upper penis cover large and prominent, apparently
concave above, strongly upturned and ending in a sharp point

in the lateral view, bifid when seen from above. The last
ventral segment, viewed from beneath, is shallowly excised.

from beneath, and their basal portion is large and rounded; from
this base proceeds a long tapering, forcipate branch, acute at
the apex. Seen from the side, these appendages stretch along
the lateral margin of the apex of the abdomen, a small paler
portion of each appendage being separated by a vague suture;
this portion is somewhat flattened and inturned and from near
its base springs a small yellowish finger shaped branch usually
miich incLirved and probably not ahvays visible from the side
in dry examples.
