New Observational Windows on Flares <strong>an</strong>d CMEs --- On Chinese Spectral<br />

Radioheliograph in cm-dm Wavelength R<strong>an</strong>ge<br />

The radio observations with high temporal, spatial <strong>an</strong>d spectral resolutions simult<strong>an</strong>eously<br />

will open new windows on flares <strong>an</strong>d CMEs. The FASR <strong>an</strong>d Chinese Spectral<br />

Radioheliograph (CSRH) aim at these goals <strong>an</strong>d will provide first images of solar flares over<br />

<strong>an</strong> extended spectral r<strong>an</strong>ge. The CSRH dm-wave <strong>an</strong>d cm-wave arrays I <strong>an</strong>d II are un<strong>der</strong><br />

construction <strong>an</strong>d due to operate in 2011 <strong>an</strong>d 2013 respectively. We discuss the scientific<br />

objectives of CSRH.
