(AQW 13543/11-15) Mr Kennedy: The Regional Development Strategy recognises the importance of climate change adaptation in development planning. My Department provides input to the development of the Northern Ireland Climate Change Adaptation Programme through the Cross Departmental Working Group on Climate Change (CDWG-CC). This group is chaired by the Minister of the Environment. My Department is represented at the CDWG-CC by its Transport Deputy Secretary. DRD Roads Service and Water Policy provide input through an Adaptation
