(3) Raise the rifle with the right h<strong>and</strong> <strong>and</strong> grasp it at the<br />

h<strong>and</strong>guard with the left h<strong>and</strong> (see fig. 21-4). This is the<br />

same as the first count of PORT ARMS.<br />

(4) Move the right h<strong>and</strong> to the small of the stock (see fig. 21-5).<br />

This is the same as the second count of PORT ARMS. The rifle<br />

should now be in the position of port arms.<br />

(5) Pull charging h<strong>and</strong>le fully to the rear with the right h<strong>and</strong> (see<br />

fig. 21-6) <strong>and</strong> release it, thus placing a round in the chamber.<br />
