g. Present Guidon From Carry Guidon at Officers Center. This<br />

movement is executed without comm<strong>and</strong> upon halting at officers center<br />

during a parade. It is executed in one count as explained in paragraph 6-<br />

2e(4). Hesitate for one count after halting. The movements should be<br />

completed on the fourth count after the comm<strong>and</strong> HALT.<br />

h. Carry Guidon From Present Guidon at Officers Center.<br />

(1) The comm<strong>and</strong> is CARRY, SWORD (READY, TWO if the officers are<br />

not armed with swords)<br />

(2) This movement is executed in the same manner as described in<br />

paragraph 6-2f(3), except that the head <strong>and</strong> eyes are not<br />

turned, since they remain to the front.<br />

i. Ready Guidon From Order or Carry Guidon.<br />

(1) This movement is used as a signal for aiding troops in the<br />

execution of comm<strong>and</strong>s where hearing verbal comm<strong>and</strong>s is<br />

difficult. The guidon is brought to ready guidon on the<br />

preparatory comm<strong>and</strong> (see fig. 6-6). It is smartly lowered to<br />

order or carry guidon upon the comm<strong>and</strong> of execution.<br />
