Description. Length 1.5-2.1 mm. Body moderately robust,<br />
black, with slight matellic sheen. Pubescence consisting <strong>of</strong> white, fine,<br />
sparse scales, these denser on sides <strong>of</strong> mesothorax and metepisternum.<br />
Frons 1.0-1.3 times wider than dorsal tip <strong>of</strong> rostrum; surface <strong>of</strong> rostrum<br />
with a broad, median V-shaped sulcus and with 1 lateral row <strong>of</strong> deep,<br />
confluent punctures. Rostrum <strong>of</strong> male evenly, moderately curved,<br />
7.4-1.6 times longer than pronotum; sides, in dorsal view, slightly<br />
dilated laterally and ventrally at antennal insertion, narrowing to<br />
middle; apical half nearly cylindrical; surface with lateral rows <strong>of</strong> strong<br />
punctures and fine, sparse dorsal punctures; tip smoother. Rostrum <strong>of</strong><br />
female evenly, moderately curved, I.5-I.7 times longer than pronotum;<br />
sides, in dorsal view, slightly dilated laterally at antennal insertion;<br />
apical two-thirds nearly cylindrical; surface finely punctured and<br />
shining beyond antennal insertion. Antennae inserted between basal<br />
0.2-0.3 <strong>of</strong> rostrum; scrobe with dorsal margin evenly descending. Eyes<br />
slightly prominent. Pronotum at base 1.2-L.3 times wider than long;<br />
sides moderately expanded at base, nearly parallel to middle, rounded to<br />
constricted apex; disc nearly flat, with deep irregular punctures;<br />
interpuncture spaces flat, shining, alutaceous. Elytra 1.2-1.3 times<br />
longer than wide; striae deep, each with 1 row <strong>of</strong> conspicuous scales;<br />
interstriae wider than striae, flat, smooth, with 1 row <strong>of</strong> fine punctures<br />
