can simply turn them on and off with the flick of a switch. These tanks are<br />

also used for desktop aquariums because their small width doesn’t take up a<br />

lot of working space.<br />

Wall tanks are not hard to clean because access is left open on one side of the<br />

wall, or the top trim piece can be installed to flip open. Follow manufacturer’s<br />

instructions and get a contractor if you are not familiar with carpentry.<br />

Furniture aquariums<br />

If you would like to combine a piece of furniture with an aquarium, then a furniture<br />

aquarium may be just what you are looking for. These tanks are built<br />

into pieces of furniture such as coffee tables, headboards, end tables, nightstands,<br />

lamps, and clocks. Often these dual-purpose tanks can be expensive,<br />

but are well worth the money if you can spare it. Use caution when purchasing<br />

one of these tanks if you have small toddlers in the house who can easily<br />

break or fall onto them.<br />
