The trays are compatible with all standard staining methods and thanks to the tightly-sealing, recessed lids, can be stacked safely and without slipping on the shaker. Rulers fluoresce within the same range as EtBr-DNA complexes, are clearly visible on both types of transilluminators (300 nm and 350 nm) and are therefore an excellent aid when photographing agarose gels.
