Enemy artillery, demolitions, and a narrow,<br />

winding mountain road would all<br />

combine <strong>to</strong> slow down <strong>the</strong> Indians for<br />

British 78th Divi'sion turned <strong>to</strong> <strong>the</strong><br />

northwest and advanced north of and<br />

flank of <strong>the</strong> Canadian corps as <strong>the</strong><br />
