Eco-safe pest management
The adoption of modern agricultural technologies has resulted in serious
problems of pesticide resistance in major pests, resurgence in minor pests,
environmental pollution and pesticide residues in food grain, fruits,
vegetables, milk, meat, eggs, etc. A rational, integrated approach at the
farmers level is needed so that pesticides, while controlling pests, do not
pose any health hazard.
