<strong>the</strong> Coolhunt a student carried out. One observation however<br />

does not prove to be <strong>the</strong> dawn <strong>of</strong> a (new) trend.<br />

If <strong>the</strong> observation however is shared by o<strong>the</strong>rs who also think it<br />

is Cool <strong>the</strong>n <strong>the</strong> meaning <strong>of</strong> Cool grows. We have, so to speak a<br />

quantitative test moment. In <strong>the</strong> case <strong>of</strong> Kickstarter not only<br />

Lifestyle students contribute to this test moment but also <strong>the</strong><br />

interest <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> world press and investors are valued.<br />

Then it becomes time to take <strong>the</strong> phenomenon seriously and to find<br />

out what big trend plays a role in <strong>the</strong> background. What trend does<br />
