ELGIN BAYLOR 1970 FCA AWARD PITCHER AND MUG
A silverplated pitcher and mug presented to Elgin Baylor by the Fellowship
of Christian Athletes (FCA) in 1970. Since 1954, The FCA has been the
largest Christian sports organization in the world. The silverplated pitcher is
stamped “Italy” on the bottom and features a silverplated handle. The
pitcher is engraved and reads “Elgin Baylor/ In recognition of his achievements
as the/ finest forward ever to play basketball - - and for his achievement/
as a leader of stature in the World of Sports./ F.C.A/ Hall of Fame/
1970.” The pitcher is accompaneid by a silverplated mug stamped that is
engraved “E.B./#22,” and stamped “Reed & Barton/317.”
