A trophy presented to Elgin Baylor in<br />

1954 for being the “high point scorer” in<br />

the 1954 District of Columbia Recreation<br />

Department basketball tournament. The<br />

trophy features a yellow metal male basketball<br />

figure holding a basketball in the<br />

air, standing on a cream plastic column<br />

base. A removable engraved yellow<br />

metal plaque is centered on the stand<br />

and reads “D.C.R.D./ High Point/<br />

Scorer/ 54.”<br />
