ELGIN B<strong>AY</strong>LOR 1997 “NBA AT 50” ALL-STAR WEEKEND DUFFLE BAG<br />
An A.N.G. Sport brand, custom made black duffle bag presented to Elgin Baylor as part of the<br />
“NBA at 50” All-Star Weekend celebration held in Cleveland, Ohio, in 1997. The duffle bag<br />
features a zippered main compartment and end compartment, carrying handles, and shoulder<br />
strap. One side of the bag shows an embroidered “All-Star Weekend Cleveland ‘97” emblem<br />
along with a stitched-on “NBA 50” commemorative logo stitched on one end and the NBA silhouette<br />
logo on the opposite end. The bag is marked “EB” on the carrying handle and “22” on<br />
the main compartment zipper flap. The bag is accompanied by various items from the event, including<br />
an “NBA at 50” T-shirt in a numbered presentation box and “All-Star Weekend” cups,<br />
posters, decals, game program, toy balls, and bumper stickers. Baylor was present at the 1997<br />
All-Star Game in Cleveland as one of the NBA’s 50 Greatest Players. The East defeated the West<br />
that year, 132-120, at the Gund Arena in Cleveland, Ohio.<br />
