Resolved Issues
• Reader to updated to handle unsupported keyword *AIRBAG_SHELL_REFERENCE_GEOMETRY,
*CONTROL_MPP_DECOMPOSTION_DISTRIBUTE_ALE_ELEMENTS and loss of shell elements with
thickness values defined.
• Transformation Manager updated to handle includes with long path.
• Renumbering of set ID’s upon reading legacy HM files is fixed.

D3PLOT Reader
D3PLOT reader updated to handle names for components introduced in LS-DYNA V971 R 5.1.1.
FEMZIP LS-DYNA Reader
FEMZIP LS-DYNA reader is reverted back to HW 11.0 status FEMZIP version 5.43, due to issues with
FEMZIP libraries 5.49 from Fraunhofer.
LS-DYNA HyperGraph Readers
LS-DYNA HyperGraph readers are updated to handle session files with different settings for the
environment variable DYNA_REQUEST_TYPE.

Transformations in the Model
Transformations defined in the model by default will be turned on during import.
*INCLUDE STAMPED_PART and *INCLUDE_STAMPED_PART_SET
Files referred using keywords *INCLUDE_STAMPED_PART and *INCLUDE_STAMPED_PART_SET are by
default imported as read only into HyperMesh to preserve the associativity.
Import Browser
In the solver options of the Import Browser, an option to choose the type of the Include file is now
available at the time of importing a file as include to the file in session. This allows the user to set the
include file type as one of the following: INCLUDE, INCLUDE_STAMPED_PART, INCLUDE_STAMPED_
PART_SET, and INCLUDE_COMPENSATION_options.
During import of .k files from 11.0 or older versions, the user can choose between HM name or name
in Keyword using the check box option “Map LS-DYNA TITLE/HEADING to HM name” in the solver
options of Import Browser.
