OSSmooth 12.0 - Geometry Recovery and Remeshing
• Improvements to the geometry recovery algorithm result in much cleaner and smoother geometry
interpretation of topology results, with fewer number of surfaces.
• Geometry can now be output in PARASOLID and STEP format.
• The remeshing algorithm has been improved to generate a FEA-ready mesh with a mapping
of property data, loads and boundary conditions, setting up the optimized model for a quick
reanalysis.

11.0.130 Release Notes - General
Browser Include View
Added three new columns within the browser include view to set the export state, include path, and
include type of one or more includes. This is available for all applicable user profiles.
Cross-reference Browser
Display control within the cross-reference (XRef) browser is now available via the Show/Hide/Isolate
entries in the context menu. Review is also added to the context menu to set the review state of the
selected entity.
Box Trim Utility
The Box Trim utility in the LS-DYNA user profile has undergone significant updates to enable the box
trim to remove unused entities and automatically update entities which pass through the box trim –
the objective is to ensure a run ready deck post box trim. The same utility in the Nastran user profile
has had some additional updates also.
Replace Functionality
Added “no to all” option in the Replace functionality.
Model Checker
Model Checker has been updated to detect and remove unused beamsections for OptiStruct, RADIOSS
(Bulk Data), Nastran and LS-DYNA user profiles.
Assign Dialog
Added Name, Name(ID), ID list display options to the Assign dialog for all user profiles.
Check Elements Panel
Added the ability to find free nodes via the Check Elements:1D panel, free 1-d nodes.
