An entirely re-designed HyperStudy, keeping the overall philosophy of the product the same, incorporates significant UI redesign with communized study approaches, study attributes presented in tables for easy access, new reporting functionality and many more features. • New features such as study archive, multi-execution and batch mode control • Extended post-processing that includes multi-plotting options, color maps and reliability plots, among others • New and improved methods, such as radial basis functions, hybrid method for multi-objective optimization, global response surface method and single loop approach. • Innovative application of the equivalent static load method for the optimization of geometric and material non-linear problems • New manufacturing constraints for topology optimization • A new global search option to avoid being stuck in a local solution Engineering and Manufacturing Solutions HyperWorks 12.0 extends the offer for manufacturing and engineering solutions, with new functionalities and an innovative delivery model to better capture knowledge for vertical processes. HyperWorks Engineering Solutions are now offered as packaged solution offerings (PSO), specialized packages of software and services that support the implementation and utilization of Altair’s solutions and technologies, tailored to meet customers’ specific requirements. Solutions include: • Altair PSO for automotive NVH (noise, vibration and harshness) simulation • Altair PSO for automated reporting More solutions, such as a PSO for durability simulation, are currently under development. Please contact an Altair representative to learn more about the available Altair PSOs and how to use them with your current HyperWorks licenses. HyperWorks Manufacturing Solutions, a unified environment for manufacturing process simulation, analysis, and design optimization, include enhanced solutions for sheet-metal forming, metal and polymer extrusion, friction-stir welding, injection molding and forging.
