FiberSim Reader
New FiberSim reader has been added to read Composites design data from FiberSim HDF5 files. The
FiberSim reader selection is available in Import > Geometry > File Type. The file type drop down
menu has a new option called FiberSim to read FiberSim HDF5 file formats.
Currently the FiberSim interface is supported only for RADIOSS (Bulk) and Nastran interfaces, but will
be supported in other interfaces in future releases.
Ply Realization Dialog
A new option called FiberSim Drape Map by Proximity Method is added to Projection Options
in the Ply Realization dialog to extract elements for ply boundaries, and to map drape data to the
target mesh.
Using this method, if the element centroid projected along every element normal lies within the
FiberSim ply definition (in terms of triangulation on a ply table), it is associated with this ply upon
realization. After extracting the elements for ply, the FiberSim drape data is mapped to new ply
elements within HyperMesh. A drape card image is automatically assigned to an associated table of
each ply in the RADIOSS (Bulk Data) interface in HyperMesh during the ply realization process.
Shortcut Keys
Shortcut keys Selector (S), Show/Hide (U) and Isolate (I) are re-enabled in 11.0.130.
Deleting Components
In previous versions, users were unable to delete components in the browser with large ID’s. This has
been resolved.
Reordering Components
In previous versions, if the user reordered components then the entity name in the browser was
incorrect.
