Material Description:
The Split mechanical joint, wedge action
restraining follower gland for ductile iron pipe
provides restraint for mechanical joint fittings
over existing installations of ductile iron
pipe. Restraining gland, wedge segments, and
actuating bolts shall be manufactured of high
strength ductile iron conforming to the
requirements of ASTM A536.
Application:
For use on ductile iron pipe at mechanical
joints
