Anchoring coupling, CI or DI; interior: cement
lined, standard thickness; bituminous coating:
inside & outside; length: 12" minimum, less
accessories (tee bolts, nuts and gasket).
Application:
For restraining fire hydrant to the gate valve,
thus preventing the hydrant from blowing off
under line pressure or when surges occur during
hydrant operation. The rotating feature of the
swivel gland permits the installer to meet any
grade requirement regardless of bolt-hole
alignment.
