Material Description:
Water Meter shall meet all flow requirements set
forth in AWWA C702 for compound meters and use
only one moving part in water. Construction
shall be no lead Ductile Iron with NSF 61
approved automotive grade epoxy coating. The
maincase will come with a test port and "V"
shaped strainer. The registers will read 8
number wheels on demand and will not require the
use of pulse or counters. The register shall be
hermetically sealed with an electronic
communications encoder. The register shall be
programmable, provide a pulse output for future
use, and provide 31 days of interval data.
Application:
For cold water metering applications. Intended
where a moderately wide flow range is
anticipated for typical commercial and
industrial applications. The register shall be
furnished with a 20' Itron ERT tail piece,
factory connected and sealed for field
application to an Itron ERT "pit set" type of
radio transmitter.
