Material Description:
Plug valve shall be non-lubricated, eccentric
type with a minimum port opening of 80% suitable
for use in domestic wastewater systems. Plug
valve shall have an cast iron body, a welded
nickel seat, fully elastomeric (nitrile or NBR)
encapsulated iron plug, direct actuator with 2"
square operating nut, 125 lb flanged ends, rated
for 150 psi working pressure, and fusion bonded
epoxy coating on interior (min. 20 mil
thickness) and exterior surfaces. Specify fusion
bonded epoxy coating.
Application:
For use in pressurized wastewater systems.
