Material Description:
Gate valve shall be ductile iron, resilient
wedge style. Gate valve shall have an iron
body, bonnet, disc and operating nut and be
fusion bonded epoxy coated (interior and
exterior). The disc shall be fully rubber
(nitrile) encapsulated. Gate valve shall have a
non-rising stem, O-ring seals, handwheel
operator, Class 125 flanged ends and shall be
pressure rated to 250 psi. Gate valve shall be
furnished less end accessories.
Application:
For system shut off/on in potable and reclaimed
water systems with threaded connections with
flanged connections.
