Material Description:
Resilient wedge, ductile iron gate valve shall
have an iron body, bonnet, disc and operating
nut and be fusion bonded epoxy coated (interior
and exterior). The disc shall be fully rubber
(nitrile) encapsulated. Gate valve shall have a
non-rising stem, O-ring seals, handwheel
operator, Class 125 flanged ends and shall be
pressure rated to 250 psi. Gate valve shall be
tapped (iron pipe threads) and plugged on inlet
and outlet side of valve body for backflow
preventer testing.
Application:
Suitable for use in potable water, reclaimed
water, and fire protection systems.
