9.4 USER INTERFACE FOR “WHAT-IF” ANALYSIS<br />

The tool for perform<strong>in</strong>g “what-if” analysis on the elder driver projections is an Excel<br />

97/<strong>2000</strong> spreadsheet. A copy of the spreadsheet can be obta<strong>in</strong>ed on the <strong>in</strong>ternet via the older<br />

drivers l<strong>in</strong>k at http://www-cta.ornl.gov or by contact<strong>in</strong>g Tim Reuscher at (865) 574-8690.<br />

This spreadsheet utilizes Visual Basic macros, which guide the user through decisions to alter<br />

the levels of <strong>in</strong>dependent variables used <strong>in</strong> driver, VMT, and risk projections. The ma<strong>in</strong> sheet<br />

that the user sees upon open<strong>in</strong>g the spreadsheet is presented below.<br />
