DIED NOVEMBER 19tH, 1873, AGED 24.
kEY your tears and chase your gloom,
Scatter flowers upon her tomb
;
She was gentle, young, and fair,
Such as friends the least could spare
But her Lord was pleased to say,
" Suffering maiden, come away,
Earth is not the place for thee,
Thou must dwell in bliss with Me."

MOTHEE.
DIED AUGUST IOtH, 1876.
j^HE died in her ninetieth year.
After her eyes had seen
Her children's, children's children here,
She died in an old age green,
Although for a few brief months she lay.
Sad proof of body and mind's decay.
And then she wandered oft and far
Into the days of old.
Seemingly now with want at war.
Now dreaming of wealth untold.
Now, chiding old friends and children dear.
Now calling them close and closer near.
