Nemonychidae comprises eight species in<br />

<strong>Canada</strong>. The adults feed on the staminate flowers<br />

<strong>of</strong>various conifers.<br />

The nemonychids are <strong>of</strong>ten included in<br />

Curculionidae, but their larvae show an aflinity to<br />

Anthribidae. Kuschel (1989) recently published a<br />

revision <strong>of</strong> this family for North America The list<br />

below follows O'Brien and Wibmer (1982).<br />
