Four species of Attelabidae occur in Canada.
The females form rolls from leaves and lay a single
egg in each roll. The larvae feed on the inner part
of the roll.
The classification used here follows that of
Robert W. Hamilton (unpublished Ph.D. thesis,
1969), who revised the North American species.
