H1 HEADER REC TYPE MISSING 001–130 Header Record is missing.
H1/D1 HDR/DTL REC TYPES MISSING 001–002 The Electronic File Header Record ID of H1 and the
Electronic File Detail Record ID of D1 are missing.
INVALID BARCODE FORMAT FOR HEADER 002–025 The format for the electronic file number is invalid, such
as an incorrect Service Type Code. The electronic file
number must include a Service Type Code of “50”, a
D-U-N-S Number, and a sequence number.
INVALID DEVELOPER ID CODE 078–080 The Developer ID Code field of the Header Record is
not a valid code within the Postal Service database.
INVALID D-U-N-S NUMBER 004–025 The D-U-N-S Number in the Electronic File Number
field of the Header Record does not appear in the
customer table.
INVALID ENTRY FACILITY 040–044 The entry facility ZIP in the Header Record is not a
valid 5-digit ZIP Code of a Postal Service facility.
INVALID MAILING DATE 026–033 The Mailing Date field in the Header Record must be
YYYYMMDD.
INVALID MAILING TIME 034–039 The Mailing Time field in the Header Record must be
HHMMSS.
INVALID PRODUCT VERSION NUMBER 081–088 The Product Version Number field of the Header
Record is not a version number within the Postal
Service database.
INVALID SEQ NBR IN MANIFEST FILE-ID 004–025 The sequential digits in the Electronic File Number field
of the Header Record must be eight characters, may
be right justified with preceding zeros, or left justified if
using UCC/EAN 128 symbology.

in the Header Record is not a valid number.
