Issue Raised:
Subdivision will potentially devalue all properties in the adjacent subdivision
of Inglis Park Estate. Understands that these houses must go somewhere and
suggests that a park be placed between the two estates.
Planning Comment:
It is understood that this reference is in relation to the fact that the subdivision
will potentially be developed by Housing Tasmania in the future. The value of
adjacent properties is unknown and the impact of the development on property
values is not a relevant planning matter. The application before Council is to
subdivide a parcel of land and can only be assessed on its merits against the
relevant considerations under the Planning Scheme. The proposal meets all
relevant standards.

Issue Raised:
Concerned that the subdivision will impact on the quality and value of our
estate/development and the existing dwellings that have been erected.
Planning Comment:
The proposed subdivision accords with all relevant standards under the
Planning Scheme. The value of neighbouring properties is unknown and, in
any case, is not a relevant planning matter.

Issue Raised:
Do not wish to condemn the development of Government Housing but feel that
a concentrated estate will have an impact on representors estate and the
Wynyard community as a whole.
Planning Comment:
The location of Government Housing is not a Council matter. The location of
housing around the State is determined by Housing Tasmania. The
subdivision can only be assessed on its merits from a land use planning
perspective and the application before Council meets all relevant standards of
the Planning Scheme.
