Flip-Up Door Overheads<br />
Flip-up overheads mount to the integral vertical<br />
channels on Dividends Horizon panels or wall<br />
mount tracks to provide overhead storage<br />
within workstations or private offices.<br />
Flip-up overhead cabinets consist of a top,<br />
shelf, end panels, overhead door with or<br />
without lock and required assembly screws.<br />
30" to 48" wide cabinets have single doors<br />
while cabinets 54", 60", 66" and 72" wide have<br />
double doors. 54" wide overhead cabinets<br />
will ship with one 24" and one 30" door. 66"<br />
wide overhead cabinets will ship with one<br />
30" and one 36" door. 54" and 66" overhead<br />
doors may be removed and reversed.<br />
Overheads must match the width of single or<br />
multiple panels and cannot be mounted offmodule.<br />
All cabinets are shipped knocked-down.<br />
Series 1 Flip-up Door Overhead<br />
Series 1 flip-up overhead cabinets match the<br />
aesthetics of the original Dividends Horizon<br />
system. The radiused fronts and molded<br />
plastic end trim match the radiused profile trim<br />
used on panel topcaps and end trim. Series<br />
1 cabinets are offered with steel doors.<br />
Series 2 Flip-up Door Overhead<br />
Series 2 overhead cabinets offer an alternative<br />
aesthetic to the original Dividends Horizon<br />
Series 1 overhead. Unlike the radiused door<br />
profile of the Series 1 overhead door, the<br />
Series 2 door profile is rectilinear with soft<br />
radiused corners (see door profile drawing<br />
below).The Series 2 overhead offers a painted<br />
steel or veneer overhead door front.<br />

Series 3 Flip-up Door Overhead<br />
Series 3 cabinets offer a third aesthetic choice<br />
for flip-up overhead cabinets. The series 3<br />
door profile is similar to the rectilinear door<br />
of the Series 2 cabinet, but the corners have<br />
a sharper radius to complement Dividends<br />
Horizon flat profile trim. Series 3 cabinets are<br />
offered with steel, laminate or veneer doors.<br />
Note: Horizon Series 3 overheads are<br />
designed to complement and work next<br />
to other Series 3 overheads only.<br />

- Laminate: 3/4" particle board with high<br />
pressure laminate on the outside and a paper<br />
backer on the inside. 1mm edgeband.<br />
- Veneer: 3/4" thick particle board with<br />
0.6mm thick veneer on the top and edge.<br />

Cabinet Door Clearance<br />
Cabinet doors open over the tops of cabinets.<br />
Required clearance is 16 1 / 4" total height (height<br />
of cabinet plus top clearance required).<br />
Touchdown Overhead Cabinets<br />
Touchdown overhead cabinets are equipped with<br />
hydraulic assist cylinders that allow the overhead<br />
cabinet front to gently fall to a closed position.<br />
Retrofit mechanisms may be field added to any<br />
flip-up overhead cabinet with a steel door.<br />
Note: Touchdown mechanisms are not<br />
available with laminate or veneer doors.<br />
Task Lights<br />
All Dividends cabinets and shelves<br />
will accept task lights. Task lights<br />
must be specified separately.<br />
Locks<br />
Locks are standard on overhead cabinets and<br />
keyed randomly unless otherwise specified.<br />
Other keying options include keyed alike or<br />
keyed with lock cores K001-K250. All locks<br />
are factory-installed and are black finish.<br />
Cabinets can also be specified without locks<br />
if required. When locks are not specified on<br />
Series 1 and Series 2 overheads, a plug is<br />
located in the lock position. Lock retrofit kits<br />
are available for field installation at a later date<br />
for Series 1 and Series 2 overheads only.<br />
Note: Horizon Series 3 flip-up overheads<br />
are only available in <strong>Knoll</strong> Core finishes.<br />
