The Manor of Alderton 3 rd edition<br />

In 1966 the estates were sold off. Much of the l<strong>and</strong> was purchased by the<br />

Duke of Beaufort, <strong>and</strong> became part of his extensive Badminton estate. After<br />

this date Ralph Christopher Inigo Jones <strong>and</strong> his wife Anne Denise (nee Chapell)<br />

lived at Sevington Manor. Anne Denise died there in 1977 519 <strong>and</strong>, two years<br />

later, so did Ralph Christopher 520 . As direct descendants of the Neelds they<br />

were buried in the Neeld family crypt at Leigh Delamere.<br />

Not having the skills of Canon Jackson, I do not feel competent to take this<br />

history any closer to the present, <strong>and</strong> leave this for others.<br />
