• Has completed 1,654 of 2,637 pass attempts (62.7<br />

percent) for 18,957 yards with 127 touchdowns, 60<br />

interceptions and a 90.9 passer rating during his<br />

career.<br />

• In his five seasons with the <strong>Falcons</strong>, has led the<br />

team to an impressive 33-5 home record as the<br />

starter under center.<br />

• Ryan has posted a total of 18,957 yards (2008-11)<br />

which ranks second in franchise history, behind QB<br />

Steve Bartkowski (23,470).<br />

• Since 2008, Ryan’s .718 winning percentage ranks<br />

third in the NFL among quarterbacks with 64-ormore<br />

starts. Only Patriots QB Tom Brady (.769),<br />

and Broncos QB Peyton Manning (.766) have posted<br />

a higher winning percentage during that time.<br />

• Ryan has compiled a 56-22 regular season record<br />

during his career. His 56 wins are the most by any<br />

starting quarterback in his five seasons in NFL history.<br />

• In five season, Ryan has already made his mark in<br />

the club’s record books. He owns career records for<br />

passer rating (90.9), completion percentage (62.7),<br />

300-yard games (17), wins (56), and winning percentage<br />

(.718).<br />

• Since 2008, has thrown 127 touchdown passes ,<br />

which ranks seventh in the NFL and fourth in the<br />

NFC during that time.<br />

• Completed 347 of 566 pass attempts (61.3 percent)<br />

for 4,177 yards with 29 touchdown passes, 12<br />

interceptions and a 92.2 passer rating in 2011.<br />

• Joined QB Dan Marino and QB Joe Flacco as one<br />

of three quarterbacks since 1950 post 40-or-more<br />

wins in their first four seasons after leading the <strong>Falcons</strong><br />

to an 11-5 record in 2011.<br />

• Posted 320 yards on 22 of 38 passing and tied<br />

a career high with four touchdowns at Carolina<br />

(12/11/11). Garnered FedEx Air Player of the Week<br />

and NFC Offensive Player of the Week honors for<br />

his efforts at Carolina.<br />

• Earned his first Pro Bowl selection in 2010. In 16<br />

starts, set franchise records with 357 completions<br />

on 571 pass attempts. Threw for career-highs with<br />

3,705 yards and 28 touchdowns with a career-best<br />

nine interceptions and a 91.0 passer rating.<br />

• With a 31-10 win over the Carolina Panthers in the<br />

season finale in 2010 Ryan tied Hall of Fame QB<br />

Dan Marino for the most wins by a quarterback<br />

in his first three seasons since the 1970 AFL-NFL<br />

mergerwith 33. In three seasons, Ryan has posted<br />

a 33-13 record.<br />

• Earned FedEx Air Player of the Week honors after<br />

throwing for 299 yards on 24 of 33 passing with<br />

three touchdowns against Cincinnati (10/24/10).<br />

He also posted a season-high 118.1 passer rating.<br />

• Earned NFC Offensive Player of the Month honors<br />

in November (2010) after completing 106 of 153<br />

pass attempts (69.3 percent) for 1,001 yards, seven<br />

touchdowns and zero interceptions in leading the<br />

<strong>Falcons</strong> to a 4-0 record in the month.<br />

• Set a career-high and tied a franchise record with<br />

an 85.7 completion percentage after connecting on<br />

24 of 28 passes for 197 yards and one touchdown<br />

against Green Bay (11/28).<br />

• Led six game-winning drives in the fourth quarter or<br />

later in 2010, including wins at New Orleans (9/26),<br />

vs. San Francisco (10/3), vs. Cincinnati (10/24),<br />

vs. Baltimore (11/11), vs. Green Bay (11/28) and at<br />

Tampa Bay (12/5).<br />

• Ranked third in the NFL in 2010 with a 104.1 passer<br />

rating on third down. Also completed 63.3 percent<br />

of his passes with 15 touchdowns on third down.<br />

• Named Associated Press NFL Offensive Rookie of<br />

the Year and Sporting News Rookie of the Year after<br />

completing 265 of 434 passes for 3,440 yards, 16<br />

touchdowns and 11 interceptions for an 87.7 passer<br />

rating in his first season.<br />

• His 3,440 passing yards in 2008 ranked sixth in a<br />

single season in team history as he became one of<br />

two rookie quarterbacks in NFL history to amass<br />

over 3,000 passing yards in his first season (Peyton<br />

Manning).<br />

• Became the first rookie quarterback in club history<br />

to win 11 games and, along with Baltimore Ravens<br />

quarterback Joe Flacco was the first rookie quarterback<br />

to start all 16 games and lead their teams to<br />

the playoffs.<br />

• Tied with Flacco, for posting the best regular season<br />

record ever (since the 1970 merger) by a rookie<br />

quarterback who started all 16 games (11-5).<br />

• Became the first player in franchise history to earn<br />

NFC Rookie of the Month accolades (October of<br />

2008) while earning conference offensive player of<br />

the week honors (9) and Diet Pepsi Rookie of the<br />

Week twice (Weeks 6 and 15).<br />

• Posted a streak of nine consecutive 200-yard passing<br />

games in 2008 from Weeks 6-15 and recorded<br />

eight contests with a 65.0 completion percentage<br />
