• Served as a member of the <strong>Falcons</strong> practice squad<br />

during the 2012 season.<br />

COLLEGE<br />

• Logged 186 tackles (125 solo), 10.5 tackles for loss,<br />

seven interceptions, one sack, two forced fumbles,<br />

two fumble recoveries and 22 passes defensed in<br />

four seasons at San Jose State.<br />

• As a senior in 2011, played in all 13 games with 11<br />

starts. Shared the team lead with 10 pass break-ups<br />

and finished second on the team with two interceptions.<br />

Also added 82 total tackles, which ranked<br />

third for the Spartans.<br />

Thompson attended Granite Bay high school, which<br />

has produced several NFL players including former<br />

<strong>Falcons</strong> WR Adam Jennings (2006-08).<br />

PERSONAL<br />

• An Abilene, Texas native. Was a two-time<br />

Sacramento Bee honorable mention All-Metro<br />

choice. Lettered in football and track at Granite Bay<br />

High School (CA). Averaged 6.4 yards per carry,<br />

caught 21 passes for 292 yards, and averaged 25.7<br />

yards a kickoff return in 2007. Set a school record in<br />

the 400-yard dash, running 48.2 seconds.<br />

• Graduated from San Jose State with a degree in sociology.<br />
