TRANSACTIONS<br />

• Selected as a first round (22 nd overall) draft choice<br />

by Atlanta in 2013.<br />

COLLEGE<br />

• Started 47 of 50 career games at the University of<br />

Washington posting 195 tackles (151 solo) with a<br />

school record 39 passes defensed, 8.5 tackles for<br />

loss, and six interceptions.<br />

• Allowed just eight of 54 pass completions (14.8<br />

percent) on balls thrown in his direction as the<br />

Huskies ranked 23rd in the nation in pass defense,<br />

allowing 197.3 passing yards per game.<br />

• As a senior, won both the Sports Radio 950 KJR<br />

Most Outstanding Defensive Player and the Guy<br />

Flaherty Award (the team’s oldest and most<br />

prestigious honor).<br />

• As a team captain in 2012, earned second-team All-<br />

American honors from The NFL Draft Report and<br />

Fox Sports as well as first-team All-Pac 12 honors<br />

after recording 36 tackles (27 solo) with nine<br />

passes defensed and one interception.<br />

• In 2011, was named All-Pac 12 Conference<br />

honorable mention and won the team’s Don James<br />

Perseverance Award after starting all 13 games and<br />

posting a career-high 64 tackles (46 solo), a teamleading<br />

16 passes defensed, two interceptions, two<br />

forced fumbles and two fumble recoveries.<br />

• Earned All-Pac 10 Conference honorable mention<br />

as a sophomore in 2010 starting all 13 games and<br />

logging 48 tackles (34 solo) with four passes<br />

defensed, one interception, and one fumble<br />

recovery.<br />

• Made an instant impact as a freshman as he was<br />

named to the Sporting News Freshman All-Pac 10<br />

team and earn All-Pac 10 Conference honorable<br />

mention in 2009.<br />

• Spent three games as a reserve cornerback before<br />

taking over the starting role for the final nine games<br />

posting 47 tackles (44 solo), six passes defensed,<br />

and two interceptions.<br />

PERSONAL<br />

• Attended Wilson High School (Tacoma, Wash.)<br />

where he was named a first-team all-state selection<br />

by the Seattle Times after recording 67 tackles on<br />

defense and 12 rushing touchdowns during his<br />

senior season.<br />

• As a junior, he posted 47 tackles and eight<br />

interceptions, along with four stops for loss,<br />

scoring five times while gaining 440 receiving<br />

yards and finding the end zone six more times on<br />

36 carries for 360 yards.<br />

• Named a red chip prospect by the Seattle Times and<br />

a “Northwest Nugget” honorable mention by the<br />

Tacoma News-Tribune. Rated the sixth-best overall<br />

player in the state of Washington and the country’s<br />

56th-best cornerback by Rivals.com.<br />

• A standout long jumper and triple jumper at Wilson.<br />

Took second place in the Class 4A state track<br />

meet in the triple jump (46 feet, 5.75 inches) and<br />

placed 11th in the long jump (21 feet, 2.25 inches)<br />

as a junior in 2008. Also starred on the Rams basketball<br />

team.<br />

• His two older brothers Marcus and Isaiah also<br />

played in the NFL. Marcus was selected 11th overall<br />

by Seattle in the 2003 NFL Draft and spent 10<br />

years with the Seahawks while Isaiah spent time in<br />

the AFL and UFL before breaking into the NFL as a<br />

practice squad player with the New York Jets and<br />

Philadelphia Eagles.<br />

• Son of Constance and Lloyd Trufant.
