TRANSACTIONS<br />
• Selected as a second round (59 th pick overall) draft<br />
choice by Atlanta in 2005.<br />
2012 (FALCONS)<br />
• Started all 16 games, seeing action at both defensive<br />
tackle and end in 2012. Totaled 42 tackles (33<br />
solo) with 3.5 sacks, one interception, one forced<br />
fumble, once fumble recovery and five passes defensed.<br />
• Anchored a defensive line that produced 46 tackles<br />
behind the line of scrimmage, which ranked tied for<br />
seventh in the NFL.<br />
• Collected four tackles (two solo) along with a sack<br />
and a fumble recovery in Atlanta’s Divisional playoff<br />
win over Seattle (1/13).<br />
• Sacked QB Russell Wilson on a third-down play at the<br />
<strong>Falcons</strong> six-yard line in Atlanta’s NFC Divisional win<br />
over Seattle (1/13). Babineaux’s sack allowed the clock<br />
to run out and kept the Seahawks off of the scoreboard<br />
at the end of the first half.<br />
• Posted a season high seven tackles (five solo), one sack<br />
and a pass defense against Dallas (11/4).<br />
• Recovered a fumble and returned it 15 yards for his<br />
second career touchdown against Arizona (11/18).<br />
Also added a pair of solo tackles in the win.<br />
• Posted his third career interception, picking off Saints<br />
QB Drew Brees and notching two tackles in a win over<br />
New Orleans (11/29). Atlanta intercepted Brees five<br />
times in the game and snapped his NFL record streak<br />
of 54 straight games with a touchdown pass.<br />
CAREER<br />
• In eight seasons in a <strong>Falcons</strong> uniform, has compiled<br />
321 tackles (226 solo), 22.5sacks, three interceptions,<br />
eight forced fumbles, eight fumble recoveries and 20<br />
passes defensed.<br />
• Since he was drafted by the <strong>Falcons</strong> in 2005, Babineaux<br />
leads all defensive tackles with 49.5 tackles for<br />

EXTRA POINTS<br />
• In October 2010, attended the <strong>Falcons</strong> 2nd annual<br />
Dazzle and Dine event at Wildfire Grill in Atlanta. This<br />
event provides a special dinner for breast cancer survivors<br />
and their guests as they are given the opportunity<br />
to enjoy a special meal alongside several <strong>Falcons</strong> players.<br />
The ladies are also treated to a special pampering<br />
day at Jamison Shaw Hairdressers in Atlanta.<br />
• Participated in the Extra Yard partnership program<br />
and purchased 40 season tickets and t-shirts for various<br />
charities in metro Atlanta.<br />
• During the 2010 holiday season, Babineaux baked<br />
holiday cookies and distributed gifts to preschoolers<br />
from one of Easter Seals North Georgia’s Early Education<br />
Centers.<br />
