• Selected as a fifth round (154 th pick overall) draft<br />
choice by Atlanta in 2008.<br />

• Saw action in all 16 games with three starts, collared<br />
53 total tackles (45 solo) with 10 tackles for<br />
loss and four sacks.<br />
• Ranked second on the team with four sacks, dragging<br />
down QB Kirk Cousins, QB Michael Vick, QB<br />
Josh Freeman, and QB Eli Manning in 2012.<br />
• Tallied two solo tackles against the 49ers (1/20) in<br />
the NFC Championship Game.<br />
• Collected one solo tackle against Seattle (1/13) in<br />
the NFC Divisional round.<br />
CAREER<br />
• In five seasons in Atlanta, has totaled 185 tackles<br />
(142 solo), 16.0 sacks, two interceptions one forced<br />
fumble, one fumble recovery, and three touchdowns.<br />
• Played in all 16 games with one start. Totaled 35<br />
tackles (16 solo), 2.5 sacks, one interception, and<br />
one touchdown in 2011.<br />
• Played in all 16 games with 14 starts. Notched 37<br />
tackles (30 solo) with 3.0 sacks, one interception<br />
and one touchdown in 2010.<br />
• Ranked third on the <strong>Falcons</strong> in sacks with 5.0<br />
in 2009.<br />
• Recorded his first career touchdown on a fumble recovery<br />
against New Orleans on November 2, 2009.<br />
EXTRA POINTS<br />
• Was awarded the Atlanta <strong>Falcons</strong> Community All-<br />
Star, sponsored by AllState, for the month of December<br />
2010. Recognized at the inaugural Community<br />
Honors dinner presented by AllState at the 191<br />
club in downtown Atlanta.<br />
• Participated in a number of <strong>Falcons</strong> Community Relations<br />
initiatives throughout the 2010 year, including<br />
the Alzheimer Association Georgia chapter’s<br />
Dancing with the Stars event, the <strong>Falcons</strong> second<br />
annual Dazzle & Dine event to benefit breast cancer<br />
survivors at Wildfire Grill in Atlanta, autograph<br />
signings, school visits and serving a Thanksgiving<br />
meal to Atlanta’s less fortunate at Crossroads Community<br />
Ministry<br />
• In December 2010, the <strong>Falcons</strong> defensive line treated<br />
children from the Atlanta Urban Ministries to a<br />
holiday shopping spree at a WalMart in Atlanta. The<br />
players ate dinner and shopped with the children.<br />
AUDIBLES<br />
Biermann has scored three career touchdowns, including<br />
interception returns of 50 and 31 yards.<br />
COLLEGE<br />
• Played in 52 career games while collaring 220 tackles,<br />
32 sacks (second-most in school history), 45<br />
tackles for loss, nine forced fumbles and seven fumble<br />
recoveries at Montana.<br />
• Was named the 2007 Big Sky Conference Defensive<br />
MVP and collected 70 tackles 15 sacks, 18 tackles<br />
for loss and five forced fumbles during his senior<br />
campaign.<br />
• Became Montana’s first-ever recipient of the Buck<br />
Buchanan Award in 2007, given annually by the<br />
Sports Network to the top defensive player in the Division<br />
I Football Championship Subdivision.<br />
• Competed in the 2008 Hula Bowl.<br />
PERSONAL<br />
• Married to Kim Biermann (Zolciak), has two daughters<br />
Brielle and Ariana, and two sons Kroy Jagger<br />
Biermann, Jr. and Kash Kade Biermann.<br />
• Earned eight letters at Hardin High School (Montana),<br />
three in football and wrestling and two<br />
in track.<br />
