TRANSACTIONS<br />
• Selected as the first of two fourth round (127 th overall)<br />
draft choices by Atlanta in 2013.<br />
COLLEGE<br />
• Started 28 of 54 career games at Clemson, including<br />
each of his final 27 appearances, recording 127<br />
tackles (70 solo) with 23 tackles for loss, 12 sacks,<br />
three passes defensed and one fumble recovery.<br />
• His eight forced fumbles fell two shy of the Tigers<br />
record of 10 shared by Jeff Davis (1978-81) and Ed<br />
McDaniel (1988-91).<br />
• As a senior in 2012, received All-Atlantic Coast<br />
Conference honorable mention from the league’s<br />
coaches and media, and was named Clemson’s<br />
defensive player of the game in the Tigers Chickfil-A<br />
Bowl win over LSU notching three sacks.<br />
• Finished his senior season with 20 tackles (11<br />
solo), 9.5 sacks, seven tackles for loss, four forced<br />
fumbles, and one fumble recovery.<br />
• In 2011, he set a school record for defensive linemen<br />
with 767 defensive snaps. Goodman recorded a<br />
career-high 49 tackles (25 solo) with four tackles<br />
for loss and two sacks.<br />
• As a sophomore in 2010, was the recipient of the<br />
team’s Future Impact Player Award after recording<br />
32 tackles (17 solo) with 3.5 tackles for loss, three<br />
fumble recoveries, and one sack.<br />
• Was named Co-Defensive-Rookie-of-the-Year and<br />
a first-team freshman All-ACC selection in 2009<br />
after posting 26 tackles (17 solo), six tackles for<br />
loss, and two sacks.<br />
AUDIBLES<br />
Goodman’s size-11 hands were the largest at this year’s<br />
NFL Scouting Combine.<br />
PERSONAL<br />
• Attended Florence (S.C.) High School where he was<br />
a Parade and EA Sports All-America selection.<br />
• Rated as the nation’s 36th-best overall prospect by<br />
Rivals.com, the 10th-best defensive end in America<br />
by ESPN.com and the 11th-best defensive end in the<br />
prep ranks Scout.com.<br />
• Regarded as the best player in the state of South<br />
Carolina, according to Rivals.com, as that recruiting<br />
service also rated him the fifth-best defensive end<br />
in the country…Finalist for “Mr. Football” honors.<br />
• Added All-Conference and All-State accolades as<br />
a senior…Was also a Parade and EA Sports All-<br />
American selection in 2008... recorded 73 tackles<br />
that included 15 sacks and 27 stops behind the line<br />
of scrimmage as a senior.<br />
• Was one of just two South Carolina prep players to<br />
compete at the U.S. Army All-American Game and<br />
also participated in the Shrine Bowl.<br />
• Graduated on December 20th, 2012 with a degree<br />
in Sociology...Born 1/04/90…Resides in Florence,<br />
South Carolina.
