QB MATT RYAN<br />
QB Matt Ryan put together an MVP caliber<br />
season under center in 2012. Ryan ranked<br />
among the League leaders in nearly every<br />
statistical category and led the <strong>Falcons</strong> to<br />
a 13-3 record and NFC South Championship.<br />
The fifth-year signal caller completed<br />
422 of 615 pass attempts (68.6) for 4,719<br />
yards with 32 touchdowns and a 99.1 passer rating. He<br />
set franchise records in yards, completions, completion<br />
percentage, attempts, and touchdowns in a single season.<br />

TE TONY GONZALEZ<br />
TE Tony Gonzalez continued to show he<br />
is one of the best tight ends in the NFL,<br />
hauling in a team-high 93 passes for 930<br />
yards and eight touchdowns in 2012. He<br />
became the first tight end and eighth player<br />
in NFL history to record 100 touchdown<br />
receptions with his two touchdown performance<br />
in Week 10. Gonzalez also became the second<br />
player in NFL history to record 1,200 receptions and ranks<br />
eighth all time in receiving yards.<br />

WR JULIO JONES<br />
WR Julio Jones built on his strong finish<br />
in 2011 to turn in a Pro Bowl campaign in<br />
2012. Jones posted 79 catches for 1,198<br />
yards with a team high 10 touchdowns. He<br />
surpassed the 100-yard mark five times<br />
including playoffs. The explosive Jones<br />
averaged 15.2 yards per catch and the<br />
young receiver surpassed his successful rookie campaign<br />
in receptions, yards and touchdowns in 2012. He and WR<br />
Roddy White combined for an NFL-best 2,549 yards.<br />

S THOMAS DECOUD<br />
S Thomas DeCoud led one of the NFL’s top<br />
defensive units as the <strong>Falcons</strong> finished the<br />
season ranked tied for fifth with 31 takeaways<br />
and fifth in scoring defense. The<br />
fifth-year safety from California posted a<br />
team-high six interceptions and he was<br />
one of just three players to post five interceptions<br />
and one sack last season. His six picks ranked<br />
tied for fifth in the NFL and set a new career high. He also<br />
posted 89 tackles (69 solo) and nine passes defensed.<br />

S WILLIAM MOORE<br />
S William Moore’s play in the defensive<br />
backfield was key to Atlanta’s success in<br />
2012. The former Missouri standout had<br />
one of his best games as a Falcon when<br />
he collared eight tackles (five solo) with<br />
one interception and one sack in Atlanta’s<br />
Week 2 win over Denver. He also earned<br />
NFC Player of the Week honors in Week 13. Moore posted<br />
105 tackles (74 solo) and added eight passes defensed,<br />
four tackles for loss, four interceptions, and one sack.<br />
