“Lvov likes drinking; is skilled
in drinking; and has the right
stuff for drinking”; this phrase
would often be said by the
people of this old city at old
good times. And they said that
because Lvov was famous for
its best beer nationwide and
the superb vodka. The standard
Ukrainian word “kavyarnya” was
introduced during the Soviet rule,
but it sounds somewhat weird
for all true Lvov townspeople
as it actually means “caviar”
in the local dialect.
Mercedes
is grace of the name
A woman’s Spanish name
meaning “grace” could not help
becoming a fateful one for the
cars produced under the make of
Mercedes. But it took a long time
for them to get this name.

Londonskaya Hotel is going to
publish in December. Well, what

ancient epochs as the Spanish
artists used to paint them; it
is the portrait of ayoung girl
with clear eyes, rosy cheeks,
and almost transparent shining
face. We talk about the wellknown
Infanta pained by Diego
Velazquez, the court painter at
the times of the Spanish king
Phillip IV, and the girl we see
at the picture is the nine-year-old
Spanish princess Margarita.

bars. This man can just power

energy. Mr. Leffler is going to
open a fine dinging restaurant

customers at the 8th floor of
the said hotel. Now please meet

introduce a new color of taste

of terracotta.

Cuba,

It is widely known that old flames
never die. This phrase can best

beautiful island in the Caribbean

“Freedom Island”. This country
has always inspired warm
feelings in the people of our older
generation while younger people

strong optimism of the Cubans
as well as with the vivid history
of famous Cuban guerillas and
revolution fighters.
