Vowel-Consonant -’e’, ‘ee’, and ‘ea’ Chart Review<br />
• Draw a chart with two columns on the chalkboard: one for the short vowel<br />
spellings and one for the long vowel spellings.<br />
• Write the word met in the left-hand column.<br />
• Have students pronounce this word.<br />
• Ask students what happens if you add an ‘e’ to the middle of met.<br />
• Students should say meet. If they do not, write meet in the right-hand column<br />
