Work programme, post <strong>ARK</strong><strong>XIX</strong>/3a<br />

<strong>The</strong> SAMS Photolander was collected by <strong>the</strong> <strong>RV</strong> "Celtic Voyager" in mid-July 2003.<br />

Data were downloaded film from <strong>the</strong> cameras developed. <strong>The</strong> following data were<br />

recorded:<br />

- Film camera, 124 images<br />

- Digital camera, 400 images<br />

- Optical instruments, full data set<br />

- FSI current meter, full data set<br />

- ADCP, no data (instrument flood)<br />

Early analysis of results from <strong>the</strong> third deployment of <strong>the</strong> photolander on <strong>the</strong> "Galway<br />

mound" showed an even more intense current regime <strong>with</strong> a maximum recorded<br />

velocity of 70cm s -1 . Here <strong>the</strong> residual current flow of 13.6cm s -1 was to <strong>the</strong> north-west<br />
