The equipment can be very easily installed,
in many cases by the theatre projection
staff, provided they have had some
audio servicing experience, and is very
easy to keep in tip-top operating condition
with only a limited amount of test equipment
necessary as the circuits are not too
complicated. Of course, where the theatre
can afford it. the services of a good engineer
should be employed to make the installation
and instruct the projectionist
how it should be operated for best results.
After installation, only routine cleaning
and occasional check of tubes is necessary.
Tubes should be checked about every two
or three months. Very little •expert" servicing
is necessary all the time, but an occasional
checkup by a sound engineer wiU
assure good performance.
A non-inverting, pressurized, water-type
extinguisher that offers immediate firefighting
efficiency is excellent for inexperienced
operators, who can operate this
type of extinguisher expertly because of
its squeeze grip or lever action control.
