measured perpendicularly from the break, and the break does not include a bench within the<br />

ravine that may be developed under appli<strong>ca</strong>ble enactments;<br />

“trade school” means a facility where instruction and training, related to a trade, business<br />

and/or edu<strong>ca</strong>tion, is given to students;<br />

“utility use” means facilities for broad<strong>ca</strong>st transmission and the distribution and collection of<br />

electri<strong>ca</strong>l, telephone, T.V. <strong>ca</strong>ble, natural gas, sewer, water and transportation services<br />

established by a government or company servicing the general public, and does not include oil or<br />

gas storage tanks; power sub-stations; sewage treatment plants; offices; or public storage or<br />

maintenance and works yards;<br />

“va<strong>ca</strong>tion rental” means the use of a residential dwelling unit for the temporary commercial<br />

accommodation of paying guests for a period of less than one month. This use does not include<br />

bed and breakfast; viii<br />

“vehicle service establishment” means premises used for the service of vehicles, which may<br />

include an accessory: vehicle body shop, vehicle repair garage, or vehicle supply store. For the<br />

purposes of this definition a “vehicle” includes automobiles, recreational vehicles (RV’s), boats,<br />

all-terrain vehicles (ATV’s), and motorcycles;<br />

“veterinary establishment” means a use conducted for the <strong>ca</strong>re, treatment, and hospitalization<br />

of animals, birds and fish and may include grooming facilities and sales of accessory supplies,<br />

but does not include the keeping or boarding of healthy animals;<br />

“watercourse” includes any of the following that provides fish habitat: a watercourse, whether it<br />

usually contains water or not; a pond, lake, river, creek or brook, and; a ditch, spring or wetland<br />

that is connected by surface flow to a watercourse;<br />

“winery” means an establishment involved in the manufacture, packaging, storing and sales of<br />

grape and fruit-based wines, including a wine bar and a restaurant.<br />
