.7 All parking areas comprised of ten (10) or more parking spaces in Medium<br />

Density Residential, Administrative and Institutional, General Commercial and<br />

Tourist Commercial zones must be surfaced in either concrete or asphalt, be<br />

adequately provided with lighting and drainage facilities, have access to and<br />

from major roads and provide one (1) disabled person’s parking space for<br />

every ten (10) parking spaces required.<br />

.8 All parking areas must contain adequate provisions so that vehicles may turn<br />

around on the parcel.<br />

.9 In any Residential zone, except as otherwise permitted in Section 7.17.5, no<br />

vehicle or equipment exceeding a gross weight of 3,900 kg, except the<br />

recreational vehicle of the property occupant, may be stored or parked on the<br />

property unenclosed, except <strong>ca</strong>mpgrounds. xvi<br />

.10 Where off-street parking is required by this <strong>Bylaw</strong> and where access for a<br />

person with disabilities is required, parking space(s) will be provided in<br />

accordance with the British Columbia Building Code and amendments thereto.<br />

9.4 Loading Space Requirements<br />

Where loading spaces are provided, they must be a minimum of 28 m 2 in area, be<br />

not less than 3.0 metres in width and be contained entirely on the parcel which<br />

they are to serve.<br />

9.5 Off-Street Parking and Loading<br />

Off-street parking and loading must be provided in accordance with the<br />

requirements of Table 9.2 as follows:<br />
