Anyone who’s worked with this Agora Gallery
team of women knows that serious work is
always balanced with serious play.
Chiara arrives at Agora in the
morning, switches on the lights
of the gallery, and before logging
into her emails or answering phone messages
she likes to soak in and admire all the artwork
that surrounds her.
Then, as her day begins, after discussing whatever
the current needs are for the gallery with
her colleagues, she turns on her computer and
researches… distinguishing talented artists from
his/ her webpage or blog. She contacts them providing
information regarding Agora’s promotional
and exhibition services as well inviting them to
consider entering the Chelsea International Fine
Art Competition. She makes sure to follow up…
making sure that any questions are answered.
Being Marketing Assistant involves being present
not only though email, but also though Agora’s reception
telephone. And with new communication
tools such as Facebook, she provides assistance
to artists who are represented by Agora regarding
their electronic or postcard invitations for the exhibition
and follows up with promotional material
when the exhibition is over.
Chiara says: When we gather together for a meeting,
the atmosphere is always very vibrant with the
ideas that we share with each other regarding art
and projects; we are constantly finding new ways
to improve our services. I find that there is always
a good mood in the gallery and even when stress
comes we never lose control of the situation. I
believe that is mainly because of the experienced
guidance of Ms. Angela, who is a daily source of
inspiration for all of us.
