Rudelle
(“Rudelle Fay Hall”)
Electrifying color morphs, flows and ebbs through
the work of self-taught artist Rudelle (“Rudelle
Fay Hall”). Marbleized, organic shapes gush through
transfixing vortexes of nuanced hue, powerfully
drawing us into an ethereal world of wonder. The
artist uses evocative floral imagery to meet hyperfuturistic
forms, creating alluring compositions of
pure imagination. Using a mix of techniques —
photography, digital media and painting — Rudelle
transcends the parameters of the traditional to reach
the inspiration of a steadfast, spirited soul. “Wanting
to be an artist had been building inside me, then the
dam broke, and it all came exploding out,” she states
emphatically. “There was no stopping it.” In the same
way, her works burst forth in enthusiastic, honest
forms and unadulterated colors.
Artist Flavio Pellegrino expresses his ideas and emotions
through both poetry and paint. He finds a close connection
between the two forms of expression, by which each
enriches the other. Below is an example of his work - a
matching poem and painting.
BETWEEN HEAVEN AND HELL
One rose...
two thorns...
and you hide at the other side of the sad smiles.
One curtain...
two stages...
and the sacred silence from who observes.
One wish...
two colors...
and once again the same story.
One path...
two destinies...
and you get lost in the bitter ashes
between heaven and hell
waiting for someone
...or just something else.
